Container Source Inc. brings plastic moving bins/boxes and relocation equipment to Canada’s emerging high tech capital, Markham is the fourth largest community within the Greater Toronto Area. Markham became an official city on July 1, 2012. Markham was named after William Markham, the Archbishop of York by the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada. Earlier on the community was based in agriculture. After World War II with Toronto’s big city flavor within close proximity Markham became a more urbanized community.
IBM is Markham’s largest employer. A number of multinational companies have their Canadian headquarters located in Markham including Honda Canada, Advanced Micro Devices, American Express, Johnson & Johnson, Apple Inc., Avaya, IBM, Motorola, Oracle, Honeywell and Toshiba.
